“The imagery used in the creation of my work relates to anatomical structure and skeletal forms. The themes connected to the work are ones such as cultural dislocation and familial history, as well as an interconnecting overlay of personal narrative through memory. I feel that as a maker, my interest lies not only with the conceptual development of the work but also with the materials I use, and the physical making of the forms.”
