Victoria Cleland Luxie Pop Up shop T-Shirt – “Appropriation 1933” Middle Sepik, male ceremonial jewellery c.1900
Lightweight polyester fabric. Sizing is Unisex Small (bust 49cm, length 69cm), Medium (bust 58cm, length 70cm), large (bust 59cm, length 71cm), Extra large (bust 60cm, length 72cm).
T-shirts are printed by a technique called sublimation. This process ensures the garment will maintain its vibrant colour over time, however as the artwork is applied manually to the t-shirt there are occasional ‘white flashes’ especially around seam lines. This is not a defect but an intrinsic part of the sublimation technique.
Please note – If your size is sold out the shirts are available to back order and will take up to 3 – 4 weeks to arrive. In stock items are posted within 1 – 2 business days.
Victoria Cleland’s jewellery practice investigates notions of value and meaning in traditional and contemporary objects. A candidate for Honours at Sydney College of the Arts, ‘LUXIE Pop Up’ is an extension of her current research into the changing nature of ‘luxury’ in the 21st century. Victoria recently completed an internship at Studio 20/17 at 2 Danks Street and in July 2015, co-curated Young Collectors with Judith Torzillo as part of the JMGA Conference in Sydney.
